Jenn Laskey, also known as “L.A.’s Key”, a USC alumni with a degree in communication & theater (2003), has 19 years experience in all facets of nightlife, special events, weddings, marketing, and the hospitality industry, serving as a prolific venue event director, planner, producer, designer, wedding planner, P.R. liaison, hospitality & nightlife consultant, promoter, marketing expert, creative director, venue location scout, and filming location expert.

She has had great success putting new venues events departments on the map from pre-opening phase as well as reviving venues that are a few years old and need a new revenue stream of special events and creating or propelling filmings divisions with all of her industry and locations contacts. restaurant/ bar /event & wedding space Madera Kitchen since their opening in May of 2014 when
she created an event department for what was set out to be a restaurant, now hitting over $1.5M

wedding brands coordination packages. With what may have been an unlikely wedding
location, Jenn, her team assistant coordinators, and the Madera team created a turnkey offering
to provide a beautiful indoor/ outdoor space for weddings up to 150 guests that also offer
wedding coordination, rentals, gourmet food, open bar, and staff all under one package. They
are now very sought after and have appeared in a number of wedding blogs. This also provides
consistent revenue and new business exposure for Madera, now a well-oiled machine after 6.5
years, it runs well with minimal oversight due to the systems Jenn put in place and her reputation I
the wedding biz.

Beyond playing matchmaker between top venues and event clients, Laskey’s passion is in working
with people in all budget ranges to carefully plan every detail of their event and to see that it is
seamlessly executed from start to finish. After years of careful curation, Laskey’s role carries over
to vendor matchmaking, as she works with the event & venue owners/managers, catering
partners, bar teams/ mixologists, graphic designers, event designers, production and rental
